1. What Opora does

Opora is an AI platform built specifically for commercial cleaning operators. It runs on a knowledge base of 4,500+ vectors drawn from OSHA regulations, BLS wage surveys, ISSA standards, and state licensing databases — sources that matter for running a cleaning business. Each tool takes structured inputs from you, reasons against that knowledge base, and returns cited outputs you can act on immediately. The platform spans bid drafting, RFP analysis, dilution and PPE calculations, compliance checks, customer recovery, hiring, handbook drafting, and voice walkthroughs — 12 tools that cover the daily operational surface of a building service contractor.

2. Anonymous use vs signed-in

All 12 tools work without an account. Anonymous visitors get 3 free runs per tool per day, tracked by a lightweight browser fingerprint. No personal information is collected at this stage.

Signing in unlocks:

  • Higher daily run limits (no hard cap for signed-in free accounts during the current launch period)
  • Autosave — every output you generate is saved to your library
  • Run history — revisit and continue past sessions
  • Voice walkthrough access (paid feature — see limits page)
  • Export to PDF and DOCX (coming soon)
When you hit the anonymous limit on a tool, the page shows a sign-in prompt. Signing in immediately restores access — your current session inputs stay in the form fields.

3. Sign in with magic link

Opora uses passwordless magic link authentication. Go to /account/sign-in, enter your email address, and click the link in the email that arrives within 30 seconds. The link is valid for 15 minutes and can only be used once. No password to set or forget. If the email doesn't arrive, check your spam folder and see magic link troubleshooting.

4. Your first tool run

The Bid Drafter is the best starting point. Here's how a typical run goes:

  1. Go to /pages/bid-drafter.
  2. Fill in the job specs: facility type, square footage, cleaning frequency, and any scope notes.
  3. Click Draft my bid. The tool runs against the rate knowledge base and returns a complete bid with line items, a win-probability score, and flagged risk items within 10–30 seconds.
  4. Review the output. Each section is labeled and the score reasoning is visible inline.
  5. Copy to clipboard or, if signed in, save to your library with one click.
The more specific your inputs, the better the bid. Vague square footage or a missing frequency will push the output toward conservative (lower) pricing. See the Bid Drafter help page for tips that change outcomes.

5. Saving artifacts to your library

When signed in, Opora autosaves every tool output to your library automatically the moment it generates. You'll see a "Saved" indicator in the result panel. Manual save is also available — click the save icon in the result toolbar if you want to save before generation finishes streaming.

Your library is at /account/library. Artifacts are organized by tool type and date. Use the filter chips at the top to narrow by type (Bids, Calculations, SOWs, etc.).

6. Where things live

The platform has three main areas:

  • Tools (/pages/ai) — the tool hub. All 12 tools. Start here when you need to run something.
  • Library (/account/library) — every saved output from every tool, with search and filters. Requires sign-in.
  • Account (/account) — recent activity, usage stats, settings, and notifications. Requires sign-in.

The top navigation links to each area. On mobile, the bottom tab bar provides one-tap access to Tools, Library, Notifications, and Account.

7. Keyboard shortcuts

Two shortcuts work everywhere on the platform:

  • ⌘K — Opens the command palette. Search tools by name, jump to saved artifacts, or navigate to any settings page.
  • ? — Opens the keyboard shortcut reference. Works on any tool or account page.
