Cookie Policy
Opora Supply www.oporasupply.com Effective Date: June 2, 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how Opora Supply ("we," "us," or "our") uses cookies and similar tracking technologies on www.oporasupply.com (the "Site"). It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy, which describes how we handle personal information more broadly.
If you have questions about this Policy or want to exercise your cookie preferences, contact us.
1. What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file that a website places on your device (computer, tablet, or smartphone) when you visit. Cookies serve several functions: they allow the Site to remember your session, preferences, and actions across pages; they help us understand how visitors use the Site; and, where applicable, they enable advertising to reach you on other platforms.
In addition to cookies, we may use:
- Web beacons (also called pixels or tracking pixels): Tiny transparent images embedded in pages or emails that signal when content has been loaded or viewed.
- Local storage: Browser-based storage that persists data on your device without an expiration date. Used by some Shopify storefront functions.
- Session storage: Similar to local storage, but cleared when the browser tab closes.
When we refer to "cookies" in this Policy, we mean all of the above technologies collectively unless otherwise specified.
2. Categories of cookies we use
We use cookies in four categories. The legal basis for each is described below.
2.1 Strictly necessary
These cookies are required for the Site to function. They manage your session, maintain cart contents, enable checkout, and support core security functions. Without them, the Site does not work properly.
Legal basis: Legitimate interest / contractual performance. Strictly necessary cookies cannot be disabled through our preference center, because disabling them would prevent core Site functions from operating. You may block them through browser settings, but doing so will prevent checkout and other core features from working.
Examples: Shopify session cookie, cart token cookie, CSRF security token, Shopify checkout identifier.
2.2 Performance / analytics
These cookies collect information about how visitors use the Site — which pages are visited, how long visitors stay, which links are clicked, and where visitors came from. The data is used in aggregate form to improve the Site's content, structure, and performance.
Legal basis: Legitimate interest. These cookies are enabled by default but can be disabled via our cookie preference center or browser settings. Disabling them does not affect your access to Site content.
Examples: Google Analytics 4 cookies, Shopify Analytics cookies.
2.3 Functional
Functional cookies allow the Site to remember choices you make to provide enhanced, personalized features. For example, they may remember your language preferences, regional settings, or display preferences.
Legal basis: Legitimate interest / consent (where preference storage relates to consent choices). These cookies are enabled by default but can be disabled via our preference center.
Examples: Language preference cookie, cookie consent record.
2.4 Marketing / advertising
Marketing cookies track your browsing behavior across sites in order to build a profile of your interests and serve you relevant advertising on other platforms (such as social media or Google Display Network). These cookies are set by third-party advertising platforms.
Legal basis: Consent. We do not set marketing cookies unless you have opted in through our cookie consent banner. If you do not opt in — or if you later withdraw consent — marketing cookies are not placed.
Examples: Meta Pixel, Google Ads conversion tracking, Google Ads remarketing.
Note on Global Privacy Control (GPC): We honor GPC browser signals as a valid opt-out of the sale and sharing of your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. A GPC signal received from your browser is treated as a withdrawal of consent for marketing cookies, consistent with applicable state privacy law requirements.

4. Third-party cookies
In addition to cookies we set directly, our third-party service providers set cookies on our Site through their embedded scripts and pixels. The primary third parties are:
- Shopify, Inc. — hosting and analytics platform. Shopify's Cookie Policy
- Google LLC — Google Analytics 4, Google Ads. Google's Privacy & Terms
- Meta Platforms, Inc. — Meta Pixel for advertising measurement. Meta's Privacy Policy
We do not control the cookies set by these providers beyond our use of their products. Each provider's cookie policy governs their own tracking practices.
We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party sites linked from our editorial content (such as government sources, trade publications, or vendor product pages). Those sites operate under their own cookie and privacy policies.
5. Your cookie controls
You have several mechanisms to control cookies:
5.1 Cookie preference center
When you first visit the Site, our cookie consent banner gives you the option to Accept All, Reject All, or Manage Preferences. You can revisit these choices at any time via the "Cookie Preferences" link in the Site footer.
- Strictly Necessary cookies are always on and cannot be toggled off in the preference center.
- Performance / Analytics, Functional, and Marketing / Advertising cookies are each individually toggleable.
5.2 Browser settings
You can configure your browser to block or delete cookies. The major browsers provide instructions here:
Blocking all cookies through your browser will prevent checkout and session functionality on the Shopify storefront.
5.3 Google Analytics opt-out
You can prevent Google Analytics from collecting data about your Site visits by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
5.4 Meta Pixel opt-out
You can opt out of Meta's use of cookies for advertising through Meta's Ad Preferences or through the Digital Advertising Alliance's opt-out tool.
5.5 Global Privacy Control (GPC)
We detect and honor GPC signals sent by your browser. A valid GPC signal is treated as a universal opt-out from marketing cookies and from the sale or sharing of personal data for targeted advertising, consistent with applicable state law.
6. State-specific opt-outs
Certain U.S. state privacy laws give residents additional rights with respect to cookies used for advertising.
6.1 California — "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information"
California residents have the right under the CCPA/CPRA to opt out of the "sale" and "sharing" of personal information, including the sharing of data via marketing cookies for cross-context behavioral advertising. To exercise this right:
- Use the Your Privacy Choices link, or
- Enable a GPC signal in your browser, which we automatically honor, or
- Contact us via the contact page with subject line "California Privacy Opt-Out."
6.2 Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Texas, Oregon, Montana, and other state opt-outs
Residents of states with comprehensive consumer privacy laws (VCDPA, CPA, CTDPA, TDPSA, OCPA, MCDPA, and others) have the right to opt out of the processing of personal data for purposes of targeted advertising. The same mechanisms above apply: use the preference center, enable GPC, or contact us.
See the Privacy Policy for a full state-by-state breakdown of your privacy rights.
7. Changes to this cookie policy
We will update this Policy when we add or remove cookies, change providers, or when our practices change for other reasons. When we update this Policy, we will revise the effective date at the top of this page. Material changes — such as adding a new category of marketing cookies — will be communicated via the cookie consent banner on your next Site visit, prompting you to review your preferences.
