Disclaimer
Last reviewed: June 2026
This Disclaimer governs your use of the educational and reference content published by Opora Supply ("Opora," "we," "us," or "our") on oporasupply.com, including all blog articles, guides, quick-reference materials, downloadable PDFs, charts, checklists, calculators, and any other informational content (collectively, the "Content"). By accessing, downloading, printing, distributing, or otherwise using the Content, you agree to the terms of this Disclaimer in full. If you do not agree, do not use the Content.
1. Purpose and scope
The Content is published solely for general informational and educational purposes. It is intended to help facility managers, building service contractors, procurement professionals, and other industrial-cleaning practitioners understand product categories, cleaning chemistry, regulatory frameworks, and operational best practices at a general level.
The Content is not:
- Professional consulting, advisory, or recommendation services
- Industrial hygiene assessment, exposure monitoring, or sampling services
- Legal advice or legal interpretation
- Medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or first-aid instruction
- Engineering opinion or design (including ventilation, fire protection, or plumbing design)
- Regulatory compliance certification or attestation
- Pesticide, antimicrobial, or biocide application recommendation for a specific site
- Substitute for the manufacturer's product label, Safety Data Sheet (SDS), or training program
2. No professional relationship
Reading, downloading, or using the Content does not create any consulting, advisory, attorney-client, doctor-patient, industrial-hygienist-client, engineer-client, or fiduciary relationship between you and Opora Supply or any of its members, employees, contractors, or affiliates. The Content is published "as-is" and is not tailored to your facility, your workforce, your jurisdiction, or your specific operating conditions.
3. Your responsibility to verify
You are solely responsible for evaluating the suitability of any information in the Content for your situation. Before acting on any information published by Opora, you must:
- Read and follow the current manufacturer's label for any chemical or product
- Read and follow the current Safety Data Sheet (SDS) issued by the manufacturer, including Section 8 (Exposure Controls / Personal Protection) and Section 10 (Stability and Reactivity)
- Verify current federal, state, and local regulatory requirements with the appropriate Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ), including but not limited to OSHA, EPA, FDA, the U.S. Department of Transportation, your state environmental and labor agencies, and your local fire marshal and health department
- Consult a qualified safety professional, Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH), Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Professional Engineer (PE), attorney, or other appropriate licensed professional for advice specific to your facility and operations
- Provide training to your personnel as required under 29 CFR 1910.1200 (Hazard Communication), 29 CFR 1910.132 (Personal Protective Equipment), and any other applicable standards
4. Regulatory currency and accuracy
Regulations, standards, product registrations, and chemical classifications cited in the Content (including but not limited to OSHA standards, EPA registrations, FIFRA classifications, FDA listings, CARB and state VOC limits, ANSI standards, ISSA guidance, NSF listings, and CFR citations) change frequently and without notice. Citations and dates in the Content reflect Opora's understanding as of the "Last reviewed" date stated on each piece. Opora makes no representation that any cited regulation, standard, or product registration remains current at the time you read the Content.
You must independently verify all regulatory information against the primary source (e.g., the Code of Federal Regulations on ecfr.gov, the EPA's product registration database, the manufacturer's current SDS) before acting.
5. Product references and brand neutrality
The Content refers to product categories, chemistries, and certification programs, not to specific brands or SKUs unless explicitly noted. Any reference to a third-party brand, product, certification, organization, or regulatory body is for educational and identification purposes only and does not constitute endorsement, sponsorship, or affiliation. Trademarks and registered marks referenced in the Content remain the property of their respective owners.
Where the Content discusses chemical compatibility, dilution ratios, PPE selection, or product application, these are general guidelines. Actual product behavior depends on specific formulation, concentration, temperature, contact time, substrate condition, and other variables that the Content cannot anticipate. Always test products on a small inconspicuous area, follow manufacturer instructions, and consult a qualified professional for site-specific decisions.
6. PDF downloads, checklists, and quick references
PDFs, checklists, audit forms, dilution cards, compatibility matrices, and other downloadable materials published by Opora are reference tools, not regulatory-compliance documents. They do not satisfy any specific OSHA, EPA, FDA, or other regulatory recordkeeping or documentation requirement, and should not be relied upon as a substitute for facility-specific written programs (Hazard Communication, Lockout/Tagout, Bloodborne Pathogen Exposure Control, Respiratory Protection, etc.) developed by a qualified safety professional.
You may print, share internally within your organization, and use these materials for educational and operational reference. You may not modify them and represent the modified version as Opora content, resell them, or redistribute them commercially without prior written permission.
7. No warranty
THE CONTENT IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. OPORA SUPPLY LLC SPECIFICALLY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO: WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, RELIABILITY, CURRENCY, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND TITLE.
Opora does not warrant that the Content is error-free, that it will meet your requirements, that access will be uninterrupted, or that the Content reflects the most current applicable law, regulation, or best practice.
8. Limitation of liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OPORA SUPPLY LLC, ITS MEMBERS, MANAGERS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, AGENTS, LICENSORS, AND AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES — INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO PROPERTY DAMAGE, BODILY INJURY, DEATH, LOST PROFITS, LOST DATA, BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, REGULATORY PENALTIES, OR REPUTATIONAL HARM — ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR ACCESS TO, USE OF, OR INABILITY TO USE THE CONTENT, EVEN IF OPORA HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
In any jurisdiction that does not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or the limitation of certain damages, Opora's liability shall be limited to the maximum extent permitted by law, and in no event shall Opora's aggregate liability to you for any claim arising from the Content exceed one hundred U.S. dollars ($100.00) or the amount you paid Opora in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, whichever is greater.
9. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Opora Supply, its members, managers, employees, contractors, agents, licensors, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to: (a) your use of the Content; (b) your application of the Content to any facility, workforce, or operation; (c) your violation of any third-party right, including any intellectual property, privacy, or safety right; and (d) your violation of any applicable law, regulation, or industry standard in connection with the Content.
10. Third-party links and references
The Content may link to or cite third-party websites, publications, standards bodies, regulatory agencies, or other resources. Opora does not control these third parties, does not endorse them, and is not responsible for the content, accuracy, currency, or availability of any third-party material. Your use of any third-party resource is at your own risk and subject to that party's terms.
11. Updates and changes
Opora may update, correct, supplement, or remove any portion of the Content at any time without notice. The "Last reviewed" date on each piece of Content indicates when that piece was last evaluated by Opora, not whether the cited regulations or standards remain current. Opora has no obligation to update the Content to reflect subsequent regulatory or industry changes.
12. Intellectual property
All Content is the property of Opora Supply and is protected by U.S. and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may print, save, and share the Content internally within your organization for non-commercial educational and operational use, provided that all copyright notices, disclaimers, and attribution remain intact. You may not sell, sublicense, redistribute commercially, incorporate into paid training programs, or create derivative works from the Content without Opora's prior written permission.
13. Reporting errors and feedback
If you believe any portion of the Content contains a factual error, an outdated regulatory citation, or other inaccuracy, please contact us through our contact page. Opora appreciates corrections but is not obligated to incorporate any feedback.
14. Governing law and dispute resolution
This Disclaimer, your use of the Content, and any dispute arising from or relating to either, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Georgia, United States of America, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any action, suit, or proceeding arising out of or relating to this Disclaimer or the Content shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in the State of Georgia, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction and venue of those courts.
You and Opora each agree that any dispute shall be resolved on an individual basis. Class actions, class arbitrations, and representative actions are not permitted.
15. Severability and entire agreement
If any provision of this Disclaimer is found unenforceable, that provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect. This Disclaimer, together with Opora's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, constitutes the entire agreement between you and Opora regarding the Content.
