What it does

Ask Deep is Opora's general-purpose AI research interface, powered by the same underlying model used across the platform. Where Ask Opora draws from a curated cleaning-industry knowledge base, Ask Deep has no domain restriction — it can research any topic you bring to it: market trends, supplier benchmarks, equipment specs, legal precedents, insurance coverage questions, or anything else that doesn't fit neatly into a specialized tool. Think of it as a knowledgeable senior analyst available around the clock.

When to use it

• Researching a new service vertical you want to expand into — square footage economics, equipment costs, crew sizing.
• Understanding a contract clause, indemnification term, or insurance requirement before signing.
• Drafting a letter, email, or policy document that doesn't map to any of the specialized tools.
• Competitive intelligence — asking about regional cleaning market rates, competitor service tiers, or industry benchmarks outside the ISSA dataset.
• Working through a business decision that requires synthesizing multiple sources: pricing, labor, regulatory context.
• Training materials, SOPs, or internal documents that require original prose.

Step-by-step

1. Type your question or request in the input field. Detailed context produces better output — include your business type, scale, and what you plan to do with the answer.
2. Press Enter or click Ask. Responses begin streaming in seconds; complex research tasks may take 15–30 seconds to complete.
3. Review the response. If the answer is close but not quite right, add a follow-up message: the conversation history carries forward and you don't have to re-explain context.
4. Copy, export, or use the response directly. Ask Deep outputs plain text — paste it into any document, email, or other tool.

Tips that change outcomes

• Give it a role. Starting with "You are reviewing this contract as a commercial cleaning operator with 50 employees in Texas" produces a much more focused, practically useful response than asking the same question without context.
• Ask for structure when you need it. "Give me a numbered checklist" or "Format this as a table with columns for cost, benefit, and risk" will produce exactly that. If you don't specify a format, Ask Deep chooses one based on the content.
• Iterate, don't restart. A first response that's 80% right is a starting point, not a failure. Follow up with "Make section 2 more concise" or "Add an example for the third point." The conversation context carries everything you've established.
• Ask for sources. If you need to verify or cite a claim, ask: "What's the source for that figure?" or "Can you cite the regulation you're referencing?" Ask Deep will provide the reference if it's available in its training data.
• Use it before specialized tools. Ask Deep is a good first step when you're not sure which tool to use. Describe the situation and ask which Opora tool would serve you best — it knows the platform.

• Response: A direct, substantive answer to your question. Length and structure are calibrated to the complexity of your request — a one-line factual question gets a concise answer; a multi-part research request gets a fully structured document with headers and sections.
• Follow-up capability: Every response is the start of a conversation. Ask follow-up questions, request revisions, or pivot to a related topic without losing the established context.

Limits

Anonymous users get 3 free Ask Deep sessions per day. Each submitted message counts as one run. Signed-in users on a paid plan have no daily session limit. See the limits page for full rate limit details.

Troubleshooting

The response is too generic or doesn't reflect my situation.

Add more context. The more specific your prompt — your state, crew size, contract type, industry vertical — the more specific and useful the response. Vague inputs produce vague outputs.

The response includes an error about being unable to access external URLs.

Ask Deep does not browse the web in real time. It draws from its training data. For current pricing, rate sheets, or live regulatory updates, verify the response against the primary source.

The response was cut off mid-way.

This happens with very long responses when the token limit is reached. Send a follow-up message: "Continue from where you left off" and the response will resume.
